Our History
In year 1990 Mr Philippe Gillet visited the Dominican Republic for his first time, finding not only good weather and beautiful beaches but also very good cigars! 2 years later he came with his biggest passion in mind " Create a Cigar Brand" and so he did it! In 1992 Don Lucas Cigars started rolling cigars with two people, making only 150 cigars per day.
Today we have 12 rollers; keeping in mind that quality is more important quantity we still produce a limited amount of cigars with the highest standards of quality on the market therefore some famousmagazines of USA have placed Don Lucas Cigars in between the top 12 brands of Dominican Republic.
Today we have 10 different sizes with 5 different strengths, two humidors where they are conserved at optimal conditions and our facilities are open every day from 9:00 AM to 6:30PM to the public for sharing the passion of smoking! We speak: Spanish, English, French, German and Russian.
